he Bentleigh Cricket Club recently received two separate State Government Grants which will be put towards junior clothing and outdoor shade.

The Sporting Club Grants Program provides grants to assist in the purchase of sports uniforms and equipment and the Bentleigh Cricket Club was awarded the grant to put towards the cost of new junior playing shirts.

The Community Shade Grants Program increases the availability of shade in public places where Victorians spend time outdoors, benefiting community spaces, including sporting facilities. The Club received funding to put towards purchasing outdoor shade items, such as marquees and umbrellas.

The Bentleigh Cricket acknowledges and thanks the State Government for the grants and thanks them for their commitment to local sporting clubs.
